August 29, 2012 Lend your moral voice to repeal Missouri's death penalty. People of Faith Against the Death Penalty and Missourians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty are partnering to expand the support of Missouri's faith communities for repealing Missouri's death penalty. If you are a religious leader or a lay person of faith, please sign one of these new letters to Missouri's legislators and governor. Additionally, nearly 500 religious leaders haves called on Missouri's governor to grant clemency to Missouri death row prisoner Reggie Clemons. Clearly, people of faith are using their moral authority more and more to call on their elected leaders to put an end to the death penalty. Let’s build on the momentum that this letter and Connecticut abolishing the death penalty in April sparked. Let’s support repeal of Missouri's death penalty.
